SolarShare is reshaping access to clean energy investment by leveraging blockchain technology to tokenize ownership of real-world solar farms. Through its innovative use of NFTs, the project allows individuals to invest in Brazilian solar infrastructure, earn passive income, and participate in the energy transition—regardless of geographic location.
What is SolarShare?
SolarShare enables fractional ownership of solar panels via tokenized assets known as “Solar Units.” Each unit is issued as a non-fungible token (NFT) representing a portion of a solar panel. Investors receive monthly payouts in USDT, a stablecoin pegged to the US dollar, based on the performance of their panels and staking status.
The project currently operates in Xique-Xique, Bahia, Brazil, where it runs multiple solar farms and is actively expanding its capacity.
Key Features
Fractional Ownership via NFTs
Each solar panel is divided into five NFTs, offering investors an affordable entry point. The minimum investment is $100, providing access to energy-backed assets and passive income.
Monthly Passive Income
Revenue from electricity sales is converted to USDT and distributed to NFT holders. Returns are calculated based on the generation capacity of the solar farms and the investor’s staking level.
Staking and the $SOLAR Token
SolarShare has introduced a native utility token, $SOLAR. Staking $SOLAR boosts investor rewards and unlocks full eligibility for monthly payouts in USDT. Staked investors also receive priority access to new NFT batches and governance rights within the platform.
Transparency and Security
All ownership and energy data is immutably stored on-chain. Operational risks are mitigated through warranties and insurance partnerships, including with Versole Energia Solar.

Revenue Model
SolarShare’s revenue streams are designed for sustainability and scalability:
- NFT Sales: Revenue generated from the initial sale of Solar NFTs.
- Energy Sales: Ongoing income from electricity sold to the Brazilian grid or local markets.
- Marketplace Fees: Fees collected from peer-to-peer trading of Solar NFTs.
To strengthen the token ecosystem, 25% of all platform profits are used to repurchase and burn $SOLAR tokens, reducing supply and supporting token value.
Staking Mechanics
- Unstaked NFTs: If an NFT is not fully staked, 50% of rewards are automatically used to acquire and stake $SOLAR in the user’s account.
- Fully Staked NFTs: Fully staked investors receive 100% of rewards in USDT and can opt to receive 50% of the rewards in $SOLAR instead.
To fully stake an NFT, the user must hold $SOLAR equivalent to 30% of the NFT’s initial value. This requirement is updated monthly based on token price.
Investment Process
- Register on the platform
- Complete KYC
- Purchase NFTs
- Receive monthly USDT payouts
